Kids Power Conference

Kids Power Conference

The Kids Power Conference brings together up to 100 students in grades 6 and 7 from the Thames Valley District School Board and the London District Catholic School Board who have been identified by their teachers and schools as a potential leader who would benefit from  an opportunity to acquire leadership skills. Through a series of workshops, the students develop their leadership skills and are inspired to bring back positive initiatives to their own schools and communities.

“I loved the variety of workshops we did today and what we learned. They all gave me a new perspective on life and what I want to do to help improve things in my community and in the world.” Kids Power Conference Participant

“The best thing about the Kids Power Conference was how everyone was really interactive in their presentation and wanted to get the message through but still be entertaining.”  - Kids Power Conference Participant

“I liked all of the presentations and it taught me to believe in myself and don’t let my fear get in my way and to stop racism because everyone should be treated the same no matter who you are or what you look like.”  - Kids Power Conference Participant

“I liked all of it! It was really cool and I learned some stuff.” Kids Power Conference Participant
