Kids Power Conference
For almost two decades, since 2005, Investing in Children’s Kids Power Conference has brought together more than 100 students in grades 6 and 7 from the Thames Valley District School Board and the London District Catholic School Board for a one-day leadership conference. These students have been identified by their teachers and schools as potential leaders or as individuals who would benefit from an opportunity to enhance their leadership skills. In partnership with London Public Library, the students develop their leadership skills and are motivated to see that they can be change-makers. Through a series of workshops held at the Central Library, the students are informed, inspired and encouraged to bring back positive initiatives to their schools and communities.

Check out the AMAZING workshops we had for the 2024 Investing in Children’s Kids Power Conference!
The 2020 Kids Power Conference has gone virtual in the form of an online course!
We are excited to announce we have AMAZING local leaders who will be participating like Mayor Ed Holder, Police Chief Steve Williams, London MPs, president of Western Alan Shepard and more! Since the course is online, it will able to accommodate more youth, not just the usual 100 and it will also be open to all youth not just grades 6 and 7 students! Teachers can use it with their entire class if they wish!
